Its mandate is to develop, own, and operate a portfolio of small and mid-sized renewable energy generation assets, typically in the range of 20 MW per project, with revenue secured through private Power Purchase Agreements with creditworthy commercial and industrial offtakers.

The division operates primarily in Gauteng and the North West Province, two of South Africa's most energy-intensive economic regions.
